The Survival Of Wild Life

Harsh winters of Tundra region has not deterred animals like Caribou, Arctic fox and Snowy owl to multiply. Creatures like Tree frogs, Beavers and Alligators have thrived in the wetland regions of lakes, rivers and marshes. Desert region is an abode for Black-tailed Jackrabbit, Road Runner (bird) and Tortoise. The Rocky Mountains have given shelter to Cougar lions, Mountain Goats and Mountain Blue Birds. Moose and Porcupines are found the Coniferous forests. Grass lands of Prairie are home to Squirrels and Coyotes along with Burrowing owl and Pronghorn bison.
